Philanthropy for Social Change
Bucharest, June 8-10th, 2016.
The growing interest in social change and increased focus on sustainability has led to a number of advancements and good practices throughout the CEE region.
In the last four years, INSPIRE has been a framework for innovation, sharing of experience and professional development for individuals active in philanthropy support organizations, community foundations, corporate foundations or independent philanthropy advisers. Building on the experience to date, the conference brings together the INSPIRE community (alumni, trainers, partner organizations) as well as other leaders, philanthropists, practitioners, academics, and thinkers with an interest in strategic philanthropy for social change in Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference is designed as a co-created space for sharing experience and knowledge meant to stimulate dialogue on philanthropy for social change. We envision that all participants will be actively engaged in contributing with content to the conference.
INSPIRE – the Initiative for Strategic Philanthropy and Intelligent Resources in Central and Eastern Europe is a community of philanthropy development leaders, practitioners and thinkers who contribute with their experience, resources, and knowledge to the advancement of the strategic philanthropy field in the region.
INSPIRE is a program developed by the Association for Community Relations Romania in partnership with leading philanthropic organizations from the region, with the generous support of the C.S. Mott Foundation.
